An AI app icon generator that runs on your own key
Forrrge makes app icons with image models from Google, OpenAI, and
Hugging Face. You bring the API key. Renders bill to your provider at
their rates, and Forrrge itself is $2.99 once.
How bring-your-own-key works
You create a key with a provider and paste it into
Forrrge's Settings. It's stored in the Keychain on your device.
Requests go straight to the provider. When you
generate, your prompt, any reference image, and your key go directly
from your device to the provider you chose. Forrrge isn't in the
middle and has no server to send them to.
You're asked first. Before your first generation
with a provider, Forrrge asks for your consent and names that
provider.
You pay the provider per render. No markup and no
per-image fee from Forrrge. Settings show rough spend estimates for
the current session and all time.
FLUX.1 Schnell · Black Forest Labs, via Hugging Face Built for speed. Drafts in seconds.
SDXL · Stability AI, via Hugging Face The open-weights workhorse.
SD 3 Medium · Stability AI, via Hugging Face Balanced output, sharper prompt adherence.
What you get for the prompt
The model is one part. Forrrge wraps it in sixteen render styles and
controls for lighting, lens, palette, perspective, texture, and finish,
so the same prompt can come back as Octane, Glass, Clay, or Pixel.
Renders stream in as they generate and save to a local gallery with
their full recipe. On the Mac, you can remove the background and export
an Xcode AppIcon set, a 1024 PNG for Icon Composer, or every PNG size.
The full Mac workflow.
